Kenivah Bockari better known as DJ KenZo was raised in Stockton California by his two Parents Martha and Sam who originally came from from Sierra Leone Africa, explaining his early love for artists like Oliver N’goma & Bunny Mack, American Artist Prince, Michael Jackson, and Dr. Dre. His African cultural roots, which celebrate life, marriage, and family, ended up being a driving factor in the reason he became a DJ - to further express these passions through music.
Young Kenivah grew up with vibrant African celebration all around him and was influenced by many African DJs including his Uncle Muhamed, DJ Sensai, and DJ Leone. His style reflects his background and is coupled with an infections "Kenergy" when he engages the crowd. He got his first big break spinning for Nef the Pharaoh, and since then he's spun all over Northern California and shared stages with Raekwon, Snoop Dogg, and Too Short.
