B.Magïn; (pronounced “Be Ma-Jeen”),is a trilingual lyricist and hip-hop artist residing in Northern California. With parents born and raised on the islands of Portugal, and Godparents from México, B. learned how to speak Português and Spanish from an early age. Since then, he has incorporated the languages in his writing and music. Within the past 5 years he has released 2 mixtapes, 2 EP’s, has opened for acts such as: Snow tha Product, Andre Nickatina, Joell Ortiz, as well as headlined and hosted his own shows in Sacramento, Stockton, and the Bay Area. Beyond being an artist, he is also an On- Air Personality for The Valley’s Party Station, 97.7 98.3 KWIN/ KWNN broadcasted throughout the Stockton/ Modesto areas. He began working for the radio station in 2015, after graduating from the Universtity of the Pacific, and has worked his way up to now have his own show every weekend. Over the years, B. has been able to grow his career in Northern California, and now looks to take it to the next level with his debut album: “A.Magïn then B.Magïn”.
“A.Magïn then B.Magïn”; imagine then be, is dedicated to his late father who passed away from Alzheimer’s in November of 2015. As portrayed in the cover art, the project’s main message is to see life from 2 perspectives. To imagine, and then become that imagination through action. When producing the project, B. partnered with Oakland- based record label, Plural Music, and Stockton- based record label, Sound Appeal. Producers: SP, OFASHO, and J. DIGITAL produced, mixed, and mastered the records alongside B. as he wrote every song with no features. With the combination of B.Magïn’s matured lyricism, melody production, and his producers’ push to a more developed and artistic sound, the project becomes a symbol of growth. Pushing for a universal message, catchy hooks, and his relatability, B.Magïn is sure to gain a wider audience upon the release of his debut album. The project was released through Plural Music/ EMPIRE Distribution, Records and Publishing Inc. in April 2019.
